General Summary

Develops and manages a team of inside sales personnel to provide industry leading customer service support to both internal and external stakeholders.  .

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages inside sales and accounts/order entry team
  • Implements metrics to measure our customer support level
  • Develops an industry leading customer support initiative
  • Provides solutions to improve our operation and service
  • Works closely with account managers to provide support for order-related items.
  • Develops and implements inside sales best practices
  • Responsible for overseeing and approving no-charge orders, sales concessions, discounts and other exceptions
  • Reviews and processes commissions
  • Provides expertise and leadership related to field problems, including identification, communication, resolution and recommendations
  • Oversees credit and rebill processes
  • Updates and maintains process documentation
  • Provides phone coverage as needed
  • Management responsibilities include selection, onboarding, training/development, and performance management of direct reports

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience leading an inside sales team strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer knowledge, including Microsoft office
  • Strong customer service background and attention to detail
  • Strong Leadership Skills
