Accurex is searching for a Marketing leader experienced in creating and building Brand Strategy to help tell our story using various types of media. This is an opportunity to build the Accurex Marketing strategy and take our brand image to the next level.

 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and leading the Accurex brands traditional and digital marketing and communications strategy. 

 

Working closely with key stakeholders such as business leaders, product management and sales teams, creates communications and experiences to achieve business goals, drive sales and elevate the Accurex brand. Collaborates with business units, corporate resources and third party resources to create and deliver marketing collateral across the full range of established and emerging communication mediums.   

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Formulates and implements brand strategy and positioning, in collaboration with leadership.
  • Develops annual marketing plans that meet the growth objectives of the channel and brand(s).
  • Translates overall brand strategy to segment specific brand strategies and leads execution.
  • Creates segment and account specific marketing programs to drive demand.
  • Directs and executes marketing communication projects including print, web, e-marketing, publicity, social media, video, exhibits, and events within budget.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of tradeshows, national sales meetings and other corporate and regional events.
  • Manages relationships with agencies and freelance resources, contracts and supervises work on projects and programs.
  • Manages/maintains industry press relationships; including editorial, publicity, and paid print and online advertising.
  • Manages overall digital marketing content including the direction and/or creation of copy to meet Accurex awareness, traffic and revenue goals.
  • Drives the commercialization strategies and tactics for new product launches.
  • Provides market research and insight to product and channel development.
  • Provides field sales the tools and materials they need to achieve sales objectives.
  • Regularly reports on activity to demonstrate attribution, results and returns and using results for continuous improvement in efficiency of the paid marketing spend.
  • Assists in the development of ecommerce marketing and campaigns for new customer acquisition, retention and growth.
  • Assists in the annual budgeting process.
  • Supervises direct reports, including interviewing, onboarding, performance management and development.
  • Stays up-to-date on competitor and industry marketing trends.

 

Job Qualifications:

Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • 8+ years experience in Business to Business marketing including digital marketing and eCommerce
  • A strong understanding of brand strategy and ability to drive new market opportunity through effective use of media
  • Understanding of digital and ecommerce platforms, google analytics, PPC search and AdWords, and best practices for content, email and social marketing
  • Foodservice equipment and/or HVAC industry experience preferable
  • Has/develops knowledge and insight of the foodservice and HVAC audience consisting of Account Managers, dealers, chain accounts, engineers, owners, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Experience in written, visual and verbal communications; demonstrated in a portfolio of work
  • Able to balance creativity and pragmatism: technical, aesthetic, and business considerations
  • Excellent people and consensus building skills
  • Dependable, delivers projects on deadlines, and within budget, leading to business results.
  • Capability in desktop publishing, graphics, web, and content management software; in addition to basic personal computer skills
  • Some travel required (10%-20%)
