General Summary

Enhance material utilization and support company production goals through the daily implementation and continuous improvement of CNC machine programs.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generate/Write daily programs for CNC production equipment (lasers, punches, press brakes, and forming cells).
  • Analyze material utilization and make improvements to the CNC programming to achieve desired improvements.
  • Use Enterprise Resource Planning systems to review and adjust for changes in parts requirements.
  • Make recommendations on raw material inventory levels based on the production schedule and anticipated material utilization.
  • Adjust existing programs to accommodate product redesigns or production changes.

Job Qualifications

Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a technical role, which is the equivelent to extensive technical or specialized training that would be acquired in the first two or three years of college or technical school.

Between 0-12 months’ work experience.
