Our business is looking for strong individuals to oversee the full P&L of their respective business unit.

As Greenheck’s General Manager, you will have the opportunity to showcase your marketing, sales management, product development and coaching and development skills. In addition to these areas of responsibility, you will receive support and have dotted line relationships with consulting resources from IT, Finance and Human Resources. You will be charged with running the business unit in a manner that obtains outstanding customer service, achieves optimum efficiency and effectiveness of all operations and maximizes PU profitability.

We are looking for two GM candidates to join the Fans Business Unit to service the PRV business unit and the CVI business unit. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manages business unit to achieve the targeted business unit level and quality of earnings necessary to support the corporate financial and growth objectives.  This includes assuming primary responsibility for the development and execution of the yearly operating budget as well as a five year strategic plan. 
  • Collaborates with direct reports, shared service departments, and members of the executive team to support business goals.
  • Promotes the interests of the company via encouraging teamwork among other business units within the company.
  • Resolves field service issues in a timely, cost effective manner while remaining easy to do business with and supportive of our sales channel partners.
  • Plans, develops, and implements policies and practices that promote superb execution including: customer focus, sales partnerships, competitive positioning, teamwork within and among business units and continuous improvement of all operations.
  • Directs and coordinates promotion business unit products to develop new markets, increase market share and obtain a stronger competitive position in that product line.  The GM will be actively involved in sales and marketing activities and on occasion travel to customer locations for sales and customer support.
  • Plans, develops, and implements policies and practices that promote superb execution including: customer focus, sales partnerships, competitive positioning, teamwork within and among business units and continuous improvement of all operations.
  • Oversee value engineering, cost reduction, business process improvement and productivity improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent is required, master’s degree is preferred
  • +10 years of progressively more responsible work experience is required
  • Experience in market development is preferred
  • Manufacturing experience/operational acumen preferred
  • High level of emotional intelligence to encourage and develop existing teams
