The Production Supervisor must have:

  • Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program. Or an Associate’s degree with equivalent work experience.
  • Between 1-3 years of supervisory experience with a degree or at least 5 years without a degree
  • SAP experience preferred but not required.
  • Continuous improvement training preferred but not required.
  • Must have the ability to work in a flexible work environment and adapt to changes quickly.

As a Production Supervisor, you will:

  • Direct supervision of hourly production team members, including but not limited to performance, documentation, and good communication
  • Hold our team members accountable in a caring way
  • Make necessary staffing adjustments to meet our Key Performance Metrics
  • Promote team member involvement through the department by supporting new current safety, 5S and GPS activities
  • Safety and housekeeping of the department
  • Assure team members are trained and cross trained as needed
  • Communicate with various areas of the company (engineering, materials, purchasing, NDC, etc.) as concerns arise or help is needed
  • Communicate shift concerns, follow up, etc. with your relief
  • Help with troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Interact and support your direct reports and team leads
  • Implement and lead change
  • Take ownership of all the job requirements listed above
