General Summary:

Primary responsibility is to define, implement, and lead Product Configuration related projects as they relate to Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Order Entry and Manufacturing information required by the company's business systems.  Develop and maintain the company's software programs. May work with IT on other business unit objectives and help to coordinate projects with corporate initiatives.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Order Entry, and Manufacturing with the business unit to develop and maintain product configuration related components used to determine the company product that best meets the engineering application.
  • Help identify, define, and prioritize product configuration projects.
  • Work may include but is not limited to: 
    • Software development
    • Software maintenance
    • Software testing 
  • A familiarity with object oriented programming and common database practices is preferred.
  • Must have a basic understanding of the entire order to cash process and how changes affect the process flow. 
  • Often responsible for identifying, documenting and implementing changes that need to be made in current procedures or processes. 
 

 

Business Unit Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing external selection software while implementing updates as specified by the business unit.
  • Communicate and document progress updates.
  • Provide assistance regarding selection software documentation.
  • Provide support with questions regarding selection software.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as that which would be acquired in the first two or three years of college or technical school.
  • Between 3-5 years of work experience is required.
  • Must have the ability to work in both a collaborative environment and independently.
  • Experience with Microsoft C# and Visual Studio would be a plus.
  • HVAC understanding preferred.

 

Travel:

  • Travel to Schofield, WI for up to one month for onboarding and training may be required.
  • Occasional travel to Schofield, WI after the initial onboarding may take place.
