WHERE WE BEGAN

Greenheck Group began in 1947 when two brothers, Bob and Bernie, saw an opportunity for improvement within the commercial air movement industry. With a lot of hard work, determination, and persistence, they created products that were innovative, easy to use, and better met the needs of the customer.

Bob and Bernie believed in being the easiest company to do business with and often went above and beyond to make the customer happy. Bernie focused on generating connections with customers and sales partners, Bob focused on creating innovative products that worked, and were easy to use and install. Both brothers believed in pushing past the standards set by their competitors.

  • We recently acquired additional buildings in Shelby, North Carolina to expand distribution of products like commercial kitchen hoods, tempered air products including air units and energy recovery ventilators, and industrial/commercial blowers and plenum fans.
  • Our Kings Mountain, North Carolina location is expanding by 50,000 square feet to allow for the growth of Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS).
  • Embracing our core value of “continuous improvement through learning, innovation, and teamwork,” we’ve invested in automated technology systems, Prima and Trumpf’s STOPA storage systems, to improve safety, accuracy, organization, and production efficiency across many of our locations.
  • Since 2017, our Tulsa campus has grown from an empty lot to 6 buildings. The Tulsa campus includes manufacturing operations and distribution for our Accurex brand of commercial kitchen ventilation systems and DOAS. There are no signs of stopping—additional Greenheck Group brands and products are expected to be added in the next several years to bring job growth and opportunity to the area.
