Your Opportunity:

As the Talent Development Manager, you will develop strategies and initiatives around Greenheck Group’s learning and succession programs. You will provide direction and execution of the overall corporate training function and impact Greenheck Group’s capabilities to ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide and execute direction of company-wide organizational training and development programs and initiatives
  • Oversee Greenheck Group’s leadership development programs
  • Provide leadership for Greenheck Group’s Extraordinary People Leaders initiative, support overall recruitment, development, engagement and retention of effective leaders across the organization
  • Provide leadership for succession planning by partnering with executives, management and HR to create robust succession planning processes and gap analysis. Partner with leaders to accelerate development for high-potentials.  
  • Manage relationship with external vendors and partners, including management of grant programs and ensure quality partnerships and desired outcomes.
  • Maintain appropriate certifications, including Caliper, Hogan, HBDI and others
  • Support company wide initiatives such as Employer of Choice, regional training initiatives, onboarding programs and operations leadership development program
  • Conduct needs/gap analysis to learning and development programs, providing recommendations for improvements
  • Partner with business partners to identify, develop and deliver training solutions. Manage execution to ensure efficient achievement of business goals. Provide coaching/mentoring for employee improvement/development.
  • Design learning objectives, content outline, presentation and training method, appropriate job aides and technology integration. Consults with SME to ensure relevancy of learning objectives and delivery methodology. Develops implements and evaluates the effectiveness of programs.
  • Manage L&D budget, including tuition reimbursement program/employee wellness programs
  • Serve as an SME in SuccessFactors learning modules including Learning Connection (LMS), Succession and Development. Identify opportunities to utilize technology to drive engagement and visibility.
  • Use various training delivery methods to enhance employee engagement and knowledge on a variety of topics including: job related/technical skills, leadership, general skills and personal growth development
  • Project management of new training initiatives
  • Provide leadership and management of learning and development team.


Somethings we think you should know:

  • This position will be located in at our Schofield, WI campus. We are flexible for a hybride role, as long as the candidate is within a commutable distance of the Schofield campus.


What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, training/development certifications preferred
  • +7 years of experience in training/learning and development.
  • Knowledge of learning techniques and best practices, including needs assessment, adult learning theory, instructional design, presentation, facilitation and training evaluation
  • Thorough knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques
  • Proficiency with learning management systems
  • Strong communication, facilitation, interpersonal and problem solving
  • Proven leadership skills, ability to influence, partner and collaborate with others
  • Training delivery and facilitation experience
  • Project management experience
  • Self-starter, independent, organize and prioritize.
