Title: TN Machining Gr 2- Copper Operator

Part-time Employees

The company at its discretion may hire part-time employees. Part-time is defined as less than 30 hours per week.

Work Schedule

• PT workers will need to have flexibility
• Regularly scheduled workdays will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Regular 8hr shifts

General Summary:

As a machine operator, you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specific functions. The listed below are including but are not limited to.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed using SAP
• Set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed
• Ability to perform changeovers
• Lad programs/inputs into the machine control
• Operators perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used
• Use proper tools on the machine
• Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process
• Perform and record daily preventative maintenance on machines
• Practice exceptional housekeeping
• Understand lock out, tag out

Copper Operator Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up the machine based on the size of the copper to be run and the lengths of the copper parts to be manufactured. This may include changing out coils of copper
• Observe the machine and the copper parts as they are being produced to ensure proper quality(length)
• Run the number of parts per the work order
• Identify the work order by bounding, taping, and labeling the copper parts and stage parts on copper carts

Job Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented
• Work independently
• Blueprint reading skills
• The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
• Good communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move at least 50lbs
• Ability to stand and use hand tools
• Wear the necessary PPE for the position
