General Summary:

The remote based role is to create and implement solutions to meet the business requirements utilizing SAP Sales and Distribution. Familiar with Order to Cash processes.  This position will involve gathering and analysis of business requirements, design, configure, write specifications, and manage function development through entire software development life and test cycles.  A strong ability in project management and communication skills are necessary to coordinate between IT and business users across the organization. 

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and drive the design and development of solutions.
  • Analyze IT project requirements and translate to the appropriate scope, objectives, and detailed requirements for development team.
  • Creation of technical design specifications from requirements including system use case diagrams, data flow diagrams, pseudo code, etc. Programming knowledge is preferred. 
  • Establish project priorities and deadlines based on assessed business value and goals.
  • Facilitate the delivery of small to medium sized projects across multiple business units.
  • Ability to understand the root-cause of complex problems, research and propose possible solutions both in scope of current systems and other available technology.
  • Facilitate and execute the testing process including building of test scripts, test plans and coordination of IT and business testing.
  • Ability to manage small to medium-sized projects. Ability to establish project priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills with a diverse group of business, functional and technical teams.
  • Provide production support on issues reported by end users and systems monitoring.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree with a minimum of 7 years of related work experience or a two-year degree with a minimum of 9 years of related work experience.
  • Hands on functional design and SAP SD configuration experience, include knowledge of BAPI's, Functional Methods, User Exits, Classes & Methods.
  • Understanding of SAP SD Pricing Procedures, condition logic and access sequences.
  • Understanding of interfacing Sales information into and out of the SAP system utilizing multiple methods XML, EDI, and Idoc.
  • Experience in import/extraction tools like Robotic Processes Automation Technology is a plus.
  • Knowledge /experience in Odata and S4/Hana is a plus.
  • Knowledge /experience in ABAP code is preferrred
  • Communicate functional and technical information to business teams as needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adjust pace and schedule to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with the ability to interact professionally across multiple business units.
  • Self-motivated, works well independently and with others.
