As a Sr. Production Scheduler, you will provide direction and coordinate the activities of production schedulers to ensure manufacturing activity is performed in accordance with the company sales and operations plan and budget. You will be responsible for measuring and maintaining planning and scheduling goals as well as daily scheduling responsibilities for both Accurex plants.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Enhance the coordination with the production schedulers and order processing from other business units to match lead times and consolidate shipments
  • Establish schedules in accordance with the overall sales and operations plan.
  • Recognize and suggest changes to daily capacity and opportunities for labor reduction.
  • Implement changes resulting from engineering or customer requests.
  • Answer inquiries from the sales department pertaining to production status of an order.
  • Coordinate multiple production schedules to support shipping metrics and customer commitments.
  • Communicate schedule activities with operations staff, supply chain, and all necessary appropriate business functions.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Verify and adjust the schedule in accordance with the availability of critical parts.
  • May develop and maintain sales and operations plans.
  • Knowledge and ability to extract reports out of business intelligence software.
  • Assist in setting up new parts and materials.
  • Identify trends and suggest capacity adjustments.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • SAP experience is preferred 
  • 3-5 years of work experience is required
  • Action-oriented with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
