General Summary:

Are you seeking a marketing opportunity to help our business promote and gain more market share in a growing business focused on new product development? This marketing specialist role is a great opportunity to collaborate with the business unit team to bridge the technical aspects of our products into marketing campaigns to both educate and promote to internal and external customers. Effective communication is key in this role as well as a creative mindset to keep us on the leading edge of our marketing and promotional materials. Must be capable of balancing proactive efforts with daily responsiveness as well as reviewing and creating market analysis to find new promotional & educating opportunities. This position can be located at either our Minneapolis, MN or our Schofield, WI location.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create marketing materials such as product catalogs, informational flyers, brochures, videos, posters, presentations, emails, and digital campaigns
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums such as articles, blogs, data sheets, installation and maintenance manuals, and case studies
  • Manage literature inventory to ensure availability for reps and sales team
  • Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs & content including magazine adds, promotions, press releases, etc.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product, engineering, and sales) to develop marketing initiatives, graphic designs, and promotional materials and advisements
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends & current sales reports to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering on developing competitor guides and training documents for sales teams
  • Review and test current marketing software programs for product accuracy and promotional content
  • Assist with product displays to effectively promote and demonstrate product


Business Unit Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strong communication and collaboration with business unit marketing staff
  • Work with multiple brands and sales teams on marketing content & opportunities


Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in InDesign and Adobe Suite preferred, but not required
  • Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree.
  • Between 2-5 years of work experience is required in marketing, public relations, or advertising.
