Position Summary:

Greenheck Group is currently hiring Brazing Sub Assembler on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift in their Minneapolis, MN location. Brazing Sub Assembler starts at $17.82/hour and will receive an additional $0.75 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review refrigeration schematics and BOMS. Prepare compressors, assemblies, coaxial condensers and coils.
  • Ability to identify refrigeration components.
  • Ability to properly mount and install refrigeration or water system components.
  • Ability to read and understand refrigeration schematics.
  • Ability to operate overhead crane and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to distinguish pipe sizes and types.
  • Ability to braze with different alloys and metals.
  • Be adaptable to learn the necessary functions in a timely manner.
  • Must follow standard safe practices 
  • Between 3-6 months of prior Refrigeration experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.



  • Must be 18+
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A stable work history without significant gaps of employment
  • Basic math, reading and computer skills
  • Experience using basic hand tools and reading a tape measure
  • Experience reading blue prints
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily.
  • Requires frequent lifting, routine bending, leaning, reaching, kneeling, etc.
  • Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing, farming or the military is a plus.
  • Applicants must be able to work overtime as needed. 


Applicants must pass a computer skills test for consideration after interview. As well as pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, physical, and criminal background check if offered employment.
