As the Business Process Specialist (BPI) at Greenheck, you will identify, define, manage and track process improvement efforts within our business unit, Custom AHU. You will define current business processes, system utilization and explore new processes and tools. This role will offer collaboration with marketing and engineering to support manufacturing initiatives to increase productivity, capacity, shorten lead times, reduce costs and errors as well as standardize product and processes. The BPI Specialist II will help drive the business unit to further utilize the current set of system tools as well as to develop new and more productive ways to use the various systems. You will be a critical link between our corporate IT teams and everyday business unit operations.

 

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Work with business unit managers to develop and prioritize an on-going list of projects.
  • Participate in or lead several projects that relate directly to customer satisfaction, productivity gains and/or cost savings.  
  • Work with marketing, engineering and manufacturing to define bottlenecks and other opportunities for improvement within the Business Unit. 
  • Work closely with the corporate IT teams to assist in the definition of system requirements to support process improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into system specifications.
  • Audit existing business processes to ensure documented procedures and best practices are being followed.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting of current systems used for business unit processes.
  • Create and maintain SOPs for systems processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and understand reports to help positively drive manufacturing.
  • Manage communications between end users and shared service teams during projects, systems modifications, and issue resolutions.
  • Assist in change management process during systems changes.
  • Test changes to systems to ensure requirements are met and systems function properly.

 

What You'll Need:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in manufacturing systems is preferred
  • Associate degree in a technical field required, however a combination of related experience in manufacturing and/or systems and education would be considered
  • Proficient experience with systems, Microsoft will be required. ERP experience is preferred. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects required. 
  • Experience blueprinting, gathering business requirements, documentation and training preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • High level of analytical skills required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • Engineering or manufacturing background preferred.
  • Self-motivated

 

Business Unit Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of Custom AHU's quote to cash process
  • Work experience within two or more functional areas of the business is highly preferred
  • SAP-VC and SAP-PP experience is highly preferred
