General Summary:

Provide product and system expertise to troubleshoot and field repair for Greenheck systems specific to the assigned business unit throughout North America. Perform field service as needed, educate users and field service personnel about proper maintenance and service practices. Assist with both customer service support tools and quality improvement projects within our manufacturing plant when not traveling.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide field service support for DOAS equipment directly with our customers; travel to jobsites as needed to repair or oversee start-ups at customer job sites.
  • Educate facilities and maintenance personnel, contractors, Greenheck representative service techs, and other end users on proper product maintenance and services practices.
  • Assist in creating customer support tools to improve their ability to maintain our products.
  • Assist with internal quality projects associated with reducing field service issues, 
  • Effectively communicate knowledge of Greenheck’s ventilation equipment and components including electrical components and controls. Must be able to perform basic variable frequency drive start-ups and component wiring as needed.
  • Responsible for word processing and spreadsheets as it relates to service reports, and documentation of procedures.
  • Ability to build positive, working relationships with building owners (customers), contractors, engineers and Greenheck’s mechanical rep network.
  • Provide Tech Service training to outside technicians
  • Support Technical Services via phone support


Job Qualifications:

  • Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as that which would be acquired in the first two or three years of college or technical school.
  • Between 3-5 years of work experience is required.
  • Moderate analytical ability is required. Analysis requires breaking down of information to determine its elements, historical comparisons, interpretation of data to identify trends in situations where the problems are somewhat complex.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
