Position Logistics: Due to the nature of the recruiting and relationship building with operational leadership, this position will not have the ability to be a remote position and will require on-site responsibility. Flexibility to work from home occassionally will be considered. 


About This Opportunity:

Greenheck Group is adding an HR Specialist/Production Recruiter in our Minneapolis location to recruit for and develop a pipeline of future potential candidates for production positions in partnership with community organizations, local schools, and Greenheck Group programs. Asa  Recruiter you would be responsible for the execution of recruiting strategies and processes to provide qualified candidates for high volume manufacturing positions. You will partner with HR business partners and operational leaders to generate recruiting leads, source, screen, interview and assess candidates in a timely and cost effective manner. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact on the talent acquisition process, the culture and the overall business' ability to make expected lead times. 


What you'll be responsible for:

  • Full life cycle of recruiting activities to meet the organizations needs including sourcing, interviewing, pre-employment screenings, and extending offers.

  • Developing and implementing creative strategies to attract and retain active and passive candidates, including community/school outreach, career fairs, sourcing/lead generation, etc.

  • Identifying and developing external partnerships with non-profits, high schools and colleges to develop talent pipeline.  

  • Partnering with marketing to promote Greenheck Group as EoC and our employment brand.  

  • Engaging in community partners' events

  • Maintaining job postings via applicant tracking system and job posting sites.

  • Providing consistent communication with candidates at all stages of the recruitment cycle, creating an exceptional candidate experience.

  • Partnering with Internal Communications to develop impactful recruitment advertising, social media, and candidate materials.

  • Understanding local job market for locations the role recruits for; sharing information and recommendations with recruiting, HR, total rewards, and/or internal communications teams.

  • Collaborating with college programs recruiter, developing and/or maintain local co-op or internship programs.

  • Partnering with Sales & Operations teams to fully understand their needs and develop recruitment strategies to hit hiring goals

  • Providing timely and accurate data to maintain recruiting metrics.

  • Developing relationships with community resources and local schools to positively represent employment brand and source hourly manufacturing pipeline.


Qualified candidates will have:

  • Minimum 1 year of HR experience/high-volume recruiting, preferrably in the Minneapolis market

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field AND/OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experienced in utilizing and leveraging social media for recruiting and sourcing efforts

  • Ability to manage competing demands while being adaptable and flexible in a quickly changing environment

  • Ability to flex schedule and travel to community and recruiting events


Somethings we think you should know:

  • Occassional travel may be required (<10%)

  • This role will be responsible for recruiting for our MN and TN locations.
