Position Logistics: 

  • Due to the nature of responsibilities in the Plant HR Partner role, this is not a remote or hybrid-remote opportunity. While we can offer flexibility on a case-by-case basis, this position is an on-site role. 
  • Working hours will be standard business hours but flexibility to come in on both 1st and 2nd shifts will be required.
  • This role is responsible for overseeing the HR needs of both Rocklin, CA and McClellan, CA plants. Being within a commutable distance to these plants will be necessary. For the right candidate, relocation assistance may be available. 

 

About Your Opportunity:

 

As the Plant HR Partner, you will be the site-expert in HR policies and procedures and serve as support to employees and leaders. You will be responsible for handling employee relations, leveraging employee engagement, partnering with site leaders to manage talent and retention, administering benefits, onboarding and special projects as requested.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Partner with site leadership to identify strategies to increase employee retention
  • Supervise and support the development of the HR Coordinator
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities such as a company picnics and holiday parties
  • Participates in employee-related investigations, reviews, reprimands and terminations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee succession plans
  • Ensure site’s compliance in state and federal laws by providing consistency in all HR policies and procedures
  • Organize new hire orientation and process new hire paperwork
  • Respond to employee questions, suggestions and concerns
  • Leverage data to strategically drive business decisions
  • Acts as a resource of HR related topics for site leadership tea

 

What You'll Need:

  • Four year degree in Human Resources or related field or a combination of education and experience is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally to drive company goals
  • Previous knowledge and consistently staying up to date with topics related to California employment law is required
