General Summary

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Production Scheduler, the Human Resources department and office administration.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Prints, organizes, assembles and distributes final assembly packets and production drawings to production floor personnel.
  • Completes status updates in SAP.
  • Communicates purchase order issues to supervisor and/or vendors and modifies as needed.
  • Primarily responsible for managing and maintaining the reception area.
  • Answers and directs phone calls and assists visitors/employees in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Receives and distributes office mail.
  • Completes general filing and office supply stocking as needed.
  • Supports Human Resources processes by administering tests.
  • Assists with the coordination of Human Resources activities, such as scheduling interviews/appointments, new employee orientation, trainings, and more.
  • Assists in the creation of Human Resources documents.
  • Assists in a timely distribution of a variety of employee communication materials, including confidential information, company initiatives/news, events, community service, and policies.  
  • Assists in coordinating and planning events, such as company holiday party, picnic, birthday celebrations, employee recognition events, and more.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects Human Resources operations by keeping information confidential.
     
    Job Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • SAP knowledge preferred, but not required.
  • Between 1 and 3 years of work experience in an office environment is required.
  • Adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
  • Highly organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think under pressure.
  • Highly dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and able to improve performance through management feedback.
  • Human Resources experience preferred but not required.
