Greenheck Fan is very proud of its involvement in the cooperative education process and is committed to furthering a student's education by partnering them with full-time engineers/employees and providing hands-on experience. All co-op students are treated as "real" employees, as we understand gaining real life experience is key in this relationship.  We have been extremely pleased with the results of the co-op program, and have found it to be a win-win relationship. Product Development Engineer Co-op

General Summary: Assist the product development engineer through all stages of product development.  Aids in the development of new products, redesigned products, and special design requests.  Participate in cost reduction and quality improvement projects.  Provide technical support for shop floor problems and field problems.

Responsibilities:  Participate in shop floor problem resolutions.  Assist in field problem resolutions which may include travel to jobsites and interfacing with customers along with generating a corrective action to reconcile any outstanding issues. Participate in value engineering projects.  Aid in agency approval of products including AMCA and UL.

Assist with laboratory testing of products which includes: structural, electrical, air performance, and sound performance testing.  Interpret test data, write technical reports and communicate results to engineers.  Fabricate and assemble new product prototypes and provide feedback regarding designs.
