General Summary:

Provide application development support using standard, well-defined methods to support the business processes of Greenheck Fan.  Development support may include third party software or in-house developed applications. This position is able to develop new or revise existing applications to make refinements, increase operating efficiency or improve present techniques.



Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop, modify and maintain application software to support both the internal and external business processes of Greenheck Fan.


Develop specifications based on end user requirements with the assistance of technical analysts and senior programmers.


All development and support will be in keeping with the established standards and practices of the organization and will be occasionally checked.


Understands and demonstrates a good working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio development environment (VB.NET and ASP.NET).


Learn and support our existing ERP integration, and shop floor execution system applications using SAP MII and Visual Basic.


Understands and works within the standards of the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design methodology utilizing UML.


Frequently communicate with the business analysts in the development process to discuss the system specifications, gain a basic understanding of the business processes and enhance skills for future career growth.


May be asked to participate on project teams along with business analysts and end-users.


Tests applications and provides clearly written documentation and operator instructions.


Work with the IT Technical Services and SAP basis areas and utilize the standard Software Configuration Management tool to implement/control software releases to production.



Job Qualifications: 

Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as that which would be acquired in the first two or three years of college or technical school.


Between 1-3 years of work experience is required.
