Your Opportunity:

In this role you will provide application development support using standard, well-defined methods to support the business processes of Greenheck. Development support may include third party software or in-house developed applications. This position is able to develop new or revise existing applications to make refinements, increase operating efficiency or improve present techniques.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, modify and maintain customer facing programs such as desktop software and web applications.
  • Develop specifications based on end user requirements with the assistance of technical analysts and senior programmers.
  • All development and support will be in keeping with the established standards and practices of the organization and will be occasionally checked.
  • Frequent communication with the business analysts throughout the development process to discuss the system specifications, and gain a basic understanding of the business processes.
  • May be asked to participate on project teams along with business analysts and end-users.
  • Tests applications and provides clearly written documentation and operator instructions.
  • Work may include but is not limited to: 

Software development

Software maintenance

Software testing 

Product and constraint modelling


What you should have:

  • Microsoft Visual Studio development environment (C#)
  • C# programming language
  • Object oriented programming logic
  • Systems analysis and design
  • Web service development
  • JavaScript (Angular)


Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as that which would be acquired in the first two or three years of college or technical school.


Between 1-3 years of work experience is required.


Must have the ability to work in both a collaborative environment and independently.
