The Application Developer II must have:

  • 3 years of related work experience
  • Familiarity in programming languages C#, HTML5/UI5, Java, Sharepoint.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Knowledge in SAP/Mii
  • Four-year degree in related field
  • Good interpersonal and relationship building skills 
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to train end users on new applications and/or current application enhancements 

 

As the Application Developer II, you will:

  • Support internal and external customers by developing, modifying and maintaining application software for SAP, Mii and/or machine application development 
  • Understand specifications and assist in developing technical specifications
  • Create clear and accurate application documentation
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of application installation and troubleshooting guides for programs designed/developed
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day application issues and provides debugging support as needed
  • Translate system requirements and technical specifications in development process, alongside Systems Analyst.
  • Assist in formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop/modify moderately complex applications.
  • Determine root-cause of problems and propose possible solutions within the scope of current Greenheck systems. Test and identify best solutions and create solution documents.
  • Manage tasks assigned and provide estimated time of completion, working together with a project team by applying project management methodologies
  • Communicate with business and systems analyst in the development process, discussing the system specifications and gain a better understanding of the business process

 

Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides development support for relatively complex applications using standard approaches, or for less complex applications may use new approaches. Development support may include third party software or in-house developed applications. This position is able to develop new or revise existing applications to make refinements, increase operating efficiency or improve present techniques.  Increasingly higher quality and timely deliverables are expected from this position due to their past experience with established development procedures and knowledge of systems requirements.
