General Summary:

Primary responisbility is to implement, analyze, and resolve product configuration projects as they relate to information required by Greenheck's Computer Aided Selection Program (CAPS).  Will also work with IT on other business unit objectives to help identify new opportunities, and coordinate projects with corporate initiatives.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Order Processing, and Manufacturing with the business unit to develop and maintain product configuration related components used to determine the company product that best meets the engineering application.
  • Help to identify, define and prioritize product configuration projects.
  • Work will include but is not limited to: 
    • Software development
    • Software maintenance
    • Software testing 
  • Provide CAPS support for external and internal users as requested.
  • Document detailed information needed for the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts relative to product configuration.
  • Often participates in business process improvement initiatives. 

 

 

Business Unit Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • This position will report up through the systems team for the Tempered Air Products (TAP) business unit.
  • Programming development will be done using C# and similar programming languages.
  • This position may work with SAP to develop and support business operations. 

 

 

Job Qualifications:

 

Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular two-year college program.

 

A familiarity with .net programming and common database practices is preferred.

 

 

Must have the ability to work in both a collaborative environment and independently

 

 

Between 3-5 years of work experience is preferred.
