General Summary:

Identify, define, manage and track process improvement efforts within the Total Rewards team as it relates to benefits projects.  This will include, but is not limited to, defining current business processes, system utilization and the exploration of new processes, tools, and efficiencies.  Works to increase productivity and capacity, drive automation, reduce costs, reduce errors and standardize product & processes.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Serves as a subject matter expert in payroll design and implementation to optimize existing processes, as well as lead the adoption of new internal and external opportunities.
  • Works cross-functionally to develop and prioritize an on-going list of projects. Participates in or leads several projects that relate directly to systems implementation, customer satisfaction, productivity gains and/or cost savings.  
  • Works with HR and Benefits to define bottlenecks and other opportunities for improvement within the benefit process. 
  • Identifies and understands multiple stakeholders, to recommend process improvements that result in enhancements for end customers.
  • Interact with key stakeholders on a regular basis by leading meetings, resolving unique and difficult strategic issues, and presenting effective communication solutions 
  • Collaborate with strategic leads, designers, content developers and other team members to create effective deliverables
  • Peer review and direct the communications to deliver projects on time, in scope, and on budget 
  • Facilitate the review process and evaluate requested changes/edits with key stakeholders, includes hands-on execution of content development and refinement
  • Must be able to manage the life cycle of a complete project strategy, consisting of many key pieces, while overseeing other projects and competing deadlines
  • Adapt to quickly changing priorities and direction at both a strategic and detailed level, while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Job Qualifications:

Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program, with majors such as business management, industrial engineering, IT, or human resources.

 

Between 1-3 years of work experience is required at Specialist level.

 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects required. 
  • Experience gathering business requirements, documentation and training preferred.
  • SAP HCM or payroll systems experience preferred.
  • High level of detailed analytical skills required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills and excellent customer service skills.
