General Summary:

Enhance material utilization and support company production goals through the daily implementation and continuous improvement of CNC machine programs. Prepare schedules that will maximize labor and machinery efficiencies and plant capacity and provide a high level of customer service.

 

The axial/inline business unit of Greenheck Group produces a variety of exhaust and centrifugal fans, and it is unique because the products are only produced in Wisconsin. This unit builds more than 60,000 fans per year using state of the art automation, robotic weld propellers, and laser cut sheet metal. This business unit is made up of strong leadership who stand by the motto, "Build people first, fans second." They provide top quality industrial fans to customers across the globe while constantly designing new products and accessories to meet the growing customer demands.  

 

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily programs for CNC production equipment (laser, punches, press brakes and panel benders).
  • Analyze material utilization and make improvements to the CNC programming to achieve desired improvements.
  • Use Enterprise Resource Planning systems to review and adjust for changes in parts requirements.
  • Make recommendations on raw material inventory levels based on the production schedule and anticipated material utilization.
  • Adjust existing programs to accommodate product redesigns or production changes.
  • Review drawings to determine manufacturability and provide feedback to designers.

 

Job Qualifications: 

Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as that which would be acquired in the first two or three years of college or technical school.

 

Between 0-12 months’ work experience.
