We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will assist in content creation and curation, creating an engaging and on brand digital experience for our customers, while driving the Accurex presence as a leader in the industry. This is a multi-faceted role that will require, website content management, social media coordination, project management and marketing support. A successful candidate for this position will have a strong background in project management, attention to detail, be internally driven and motivated, have exceptional communication skills and is looking for that company they can learn and grow within.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all content creation activities for our digital media channels, serving as point person for the organization and working with team members to ensure information is regularly updated
  • Monitor and identify areas of opportunity using digital analytics tools and lead solutions to improve the user experience, organic standings and paid opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategies on search engine optimization using keywords, phrases, meta descriptions and other content for optimal positioning
  • Collect, produce and edit website materials to maintain and improve the quality of information provided
  • Maintain pertinent content libraries in our content management system (CMS) including asset naming conventions
  • Report on key digital metrics to marketing and executive team members
  • Manage the development of and execution of internal and external marketing emails
  • Drive development and production of internally produced videos and webcasts
  • Facilitate the development of marketing initiatives to support overall brand goals, timely delivery, and budget allocations
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on content distribution
  • Work closely with internal subject matter experts to identify compelling stories
  • Review and edit content provided by other employees or agencies prior to distribution to ensure the content is digestible, free of errors and in line with the overall brand message and tone
  • Collaborate on development of and drive timely execution of the Accurex content calendar across all platforms
  • Assist in the development of Accurex overall marketing strategies and tactical plans
  • Collaborate with team to develop and maintain the brand style and voice guidelines for all platforms to ensure the brand remains consistent and relevant
  • Manage company promotional store and fulfillment
  • Work with sales to fulfill regional tradeshow needs
  • Identify and analyze areas for improvement to continually improve communication to sales and customers
  • Monitor trends in websites, social media, trade channels, design and strategy
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and monitor and report out on the activity of competitors marketing efforts


Job Qualifications:

  • Requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program
  • 3-5 years of work experience in an equivalent marketing role
  • Familiarization with CMS, email marketing platforms, Google analytics, SEO, and other social/digital platforms is required
  • Knowledge of video equipment, lighting and Adobe creative suite software is preferred
  • Requires excellent proof-reading, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to gather product information and drive projects forward
  • Able to collaborate and work with multiple departments and levels within the organization, including engineering, product, corporate marketing, manufacturing, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Dependable, delivers projects on deadlines, and within budget
  • Customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to respond quickly, thoroughly and accurately to internal and external customer requests
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work well in groups as well as individually
  • Collaborative and responds well to feedback
  • Detail oriented and highly organized 
  • Basic personal computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe products
