Your Opportunity:

Greenheck Group is looking for a highly motivated Engineering student to work from January - August 2022. In this role, you will provide technical coordination and assist the product manager/sales manager in the areas of product planning and development, coordination of application support, special designs and product and application training programs for the respective product family and its channels. You could also be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and communicating industry standards, codes, regulations, utility programs, etc. to Greenheck business entities. This position will allow you to impact our business while learning about our company and culture. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

A co-op may be solicited to undertake some or all of the listed duties and responsibilities below:

  • Provide technical support via phone and e-mail for both internal and external sales people in the areas of product selection and application.
  • Develop solutions for product applications
  • Communicate solutions for unique applications including design & special pricing.
  • May travel to resolve field problems.
  • Find solutions to field application problems.
  • Provide general product application support.  Understand requirements for challenging applications.
  • Provide content for the development and updating of product literature.
  • Responsible for identifying key selling points.      
  • Update competitor cross reference material 
  • Work with engineering to develop scope for enhancements on existing products.
  • Evaluates components for quality, reliability and performance and advise engineering and purchasing as to those components which might enhance the product.
  • Become familiar with the competitor's products and apply this knowledge to the company's advantage.
  • Organize and present training seminars internally and externally.
  • Conduct product training seminars and Product Center visits.
  • Small, focused projects that can make marketing more efficient. 
  • May assist with planning/coordination and attendance of trade shows.
  • Coordinate Computer Aided Product Selection (CAPS) planning, testing, and development.
  • Use CAPS to assist internal and external customers on a daily basis.

 

What you should have:

  • Enrollment in a related bachelor's degree program.
  • On track to graduate in the next 2 years or less.
