General Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, this position is responsible for the full coordination of assigned projects concerning design, construction, and overall facility maintenance while also overseeing construction progress ensuring that timing, costs and contract requirements are adhered to. This position will lead facility management responsibilities at several of our regional locations while working with business unit leaders and plant managers to ensure the facility is held to the Greenheck Group standard.  Some travel is required.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Meets regularly with contractors, subcontractors, and service vendors to provide quality assurance, monitor project budgets and schedules.
  • Oversees daily facility operation activities while maintaining excellent working relationships with maintenance contractors; maintains records and contracts.
  • Required travel to regional locations multiple times a year to create facility assessments and conduct quality control meetings with building services partners.
  • Prepare presentations of projects for work groups/staff members to provide updates on project progress. May include cost information, timelines, and project justification
  • Provide minor maintenance on security system devices and doors (strikes, closures, and locksets)
  • Assist with planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements.
  • Responsible for implementation of office relocations and space allocations, this includes overseeing, scheduling, and implementing furniture projects. This may include coordinating outside moving services. 
  • Assist CFS (Corporate Facility Services) in identifying and resolving facility deficiencies with assessments, including determining whether building systems are operating appropriately, and facility appearances meet Greenheck Group standards
  • Sourcing and overseeing contracts for service providers such as janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, security
  • Serve as a secondary contact for security matters and able to respond to facility emergencies
  • Direct involvement with new facility start-up’s, including owners training


Job Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in construction or project management preferred
  • Self-starter, confident personality with a strong customer/client focus
  • Background in architectural or interior design preferred.
  • Demonstrates problem solving/analysis skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Negotiation skills
  • Detail orientated, patient, and quality-orientated
  • Flexible and adaptable to rapid changes
  • AutoCAD and Blue Beam, Microsoft PROJECT skills preferred but not required
