Application Development Intern

Provide application development support using standard, well-defined methods to support the business processes of Greenheck Fan. Programming support may include third party software or in-house developed programs. This position is able to develop new or revise existing programs to make refinements, increase operating efficiency or improve present techniques. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create systems design utilizing client requirements
  • Builds new applications and provides application software development services or technical support for enterprise applications and business products. 
  • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Responsible for planning, coding, testing, debugging, delivering, maintaining, and documenting home-grown or vendor-supported software services and applications to support the internal business processess of Greenheck. 
  • Understands and demonstrates a good working knowledge of .net development (VB or C#). 
  • Experience with the usage of Java Script. 
  • Understands and works within the standards of the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design methodology. 
  • Document code approprately for maintainability. 
  • Frequently communicate with the business/systems analysts in the development process to discuss the system specifications and enhance skills for future career growth. 


Systems Analyst Intern

Working with internal customers, the Systems Analyst Intern assists in research and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems. Assists in preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic and documentation as necessary. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Basic documentation skills - ability to document processes, read and understand documentation created by others, and ability to create functional and technical specifications. 
  • Create and maintain documentation for system applications/programs/designs.
  • Ability to work on identified solution to a problem and test solution against all aspects of problem as stated. 
  • Ability to work as a member of a project team. Able to manage assigned tasks and provide estimated time of completion. 
  • Possess basic buiness communication skills. Is able to ask questions, listen to responses, and document resulting requirements. Is able to professionally present self in written communications, meetings, team settings, and customer interactions. 
  • Some programming knowledge is desirable. Works closely with programmers during application development. 


IT Helpdesk

  • Install, maintain and support operating system software, including the determination of errors and the application of corrections, as necessary.
  • Diagnose system hardware, software, and operator problems.  Recommend or perform minor remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operations.
  • Install, maintain and support network and data communication hardware and software.
  • Provide second level of trouble-shooting in resolving problems.
  • Work with helpdesk to provide proper levels of customer service based on customer needs.
  • Performs related work as required.
