Assists Product Manager(s) with strategic marketing initiative planning and executing marketing plan for product line. Projects will include assisting with literature/media development, special promotions and data analysis. Also works closely with corporate Marketing Coordinator to promote product line in a number of media. Acts as a marketing resource throughout the business unit.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate updating of websites and other electronic media (e.g. CAPS) for Architectural Products business unit. Make recommendations for improvement and ensure that the site information is up to date.
    • Assist with literature development projects including catalogs, installation and maintenance manuals, submittals and case studies.
    • Help create presentations using PowerPoint (and/or other presentation tools) to support our sales efforts.
    • Coordinate articles to be used as Update and Application Guide for publication.
    • Assist with promotional literature including advertorials, magazine ads, rep promotions, and press releases.
    • Assist with product shows and product displays to effectively promote and demonstrate product and company capabilities.
  • Provide data analysis and market research as it relates to product sales and forecasting.

 

Business Unit Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Setup and conduct performance tests on Damper and Louver products to appropriate standards and procedures. Document results in a detailed test report.
  • Work with engineering in determining test setup, procedures, and expected results.
  • Identify issues and propose solutions based on test results.
  • Install test instrumentation and equipment with strong attention to detail.
  • Maintain testing equipment and tooling as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe test lab.
  • This unique opportunity allows the candidate to interact with three separate sales channels within the Architectural Products business unit.
  • Coordinate customer facing system (CAPS) enhancements and updates.

Job Qualifications:

 

  • Work requires technical or specialized training such as that would be acquired in the first 2 – 4 years of college or technical school.
  • Work requires either experience or a willingness to rapidly learn and become proficient in desktop publishing tools such as Adobe InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc…)
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) reporting or a willingness to rapidly become proficient in BI reporting
