General Summary:


The Product Specialist shall perform a wide range of activities as needed including but not limited to: technical phone & email support, applications support, root-cause problem analysis, training for internal & external customers, and data analysis.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical support via phone and e-mail for both internal and external customers
  • Develop solutions for product applications
  • Identify trends (calls, product defects, etc.) and communicate to the appropriate team for resolution in order to improve product quality, and customer satisfaction while reducing call volume
  • Develop/conduct technical training classes
  • Travel to customer job sites as necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Work with design engineering to develop a scope for enhancements on existing products
  • Utilize tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Fortis and SAP
  • Dependable and able to work regularly in a team environment



Job Qualifications:


  • An Associate’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline or a non-engineering bachelor’s degree is required
  • Between 1-3 years of work experience is required.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Available to travel up to 25% of the time for field commissioning and troubleshooting work
