Your Opportunity:

Greenheck Group is looking for a highly motivated student to work from January -  August 2024. In this role, you will get direct exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will be able to learn two key aspects of the manufacturing foundation - inventory and scheduling. This position will allow you to impact our business while learning about our company and culture. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

Scheduling Responsibilities:

  • Review and release orders. 
  • Review and release MRP controllers. 
  • Answer inquiries relating to production status of an order.  
  • Support and particiapte in continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain capacity templates and adjust manpower as demand dictates. 

Materials Specialist Responsibilties:

  • Coordinate and execute cycle counting activities.
  • Coordinate with plant schedule and purchasing to identify key material issues (shortages). 
  • Coordinate inter-company materials transactions and movements (STO's).
  • Process purchase orders and receipts. 
  • Create expedites as needed for the production floor. 

 

What you should have:

  • Enrollment in a related bachelor's degree program (Supply Chain). 
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Completion of 3 supply chain courses. 
  • Involvement in APICS preferred.
