General Summary:

Provide daily processing support for manufacturing, scheduling, engineering, materials, and purchasing functions.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate timely delivery of necessary parts to achieve the scheduled production.

 

  • Maintain stocking levels on office supplies.

 

  • Process all change, cancellation, and quote(s) forms.

 

  • Release orders based on material planning requirements.

 

  • Process daily production paperwork and deliver to necessary end user.

 

  • Provide organization support including filing and sorting of paperwork.

 

  • Spend 10-15% of your time on the production floor staging and coordinating the assembly of machines.

 

  • Process STO’s/material movements.

 

  • Support Materials department as needed.

 

  • Coordinate shipping logistics.

 

  • Coordinate safety signoffs.

 

  • May provide supervision.

 

Business Unit Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Aid Machine Development Center (MDC) with product development if needed to help arrive at a manufacturing solution.
  • Aid with the install of new equipment or machine relocation if needed.
  • Be a resource for Machining Engineer’s for training and implementation of equipment.
  • Utilizing various programs (including SAP, Fortis, and CAPS), release orders once customer approved, create manufacturing special projects (MSP’s), order misc. parts/remakes and tooling orders, update shipping information.

 

Job Qualifications:

Work requires, in addition to the skills normally acquired through a general high school education, specialized or technical training which may be obtained in high school commercial or shop courses or by a relatively brief period (less than two years) of intensive preparation outside of school.

 

Between 3-5 years of work experience is required.
