General Summary:

Identify, define, manage, and track process improvement efforts within maintenance.  This will include, but is not limited to, defining current business processes, system utilization and the exploration of new processes and tools. Works in direct support of maintenance, IT, engineering, and manufacturing to reduce costs, reduce errors, and standardize maintenance processes. The Maintenance SAP Analyst will develop the necessary technologies to further utilize preventative and predictive tools to maximize equipment uptime. This position is a critical link between our corporate IT teams and everyday business unit operations.

 

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with Maintenance Managers to develop and prioritize an on-going list of projects.
  • Participate in or lead several projects that relate directly to customer satisfaction, productivity gains and/or cost savings.  
  • Work closely with the corporate IT teams to assist in the definition of system requirements to support process improvements.
  • Translate maintenance requirements into system specifications.
  • Lead the integration of the necessary technology to enable equipment data collection that will dictate preventative and predicative maintenance.
  • Lead the development of the interface to support mobile maintenance functionality
  • Develop programs to generate maintenance metrics.
  • Audit existing maintenance processes to ensure documented procedures and best practices are being followed.
  • Coordinate, implement, and present process related training initiatives to support maintenance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for maintenance processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements to maintenance and manufacturing systems.
  • May mentor and provide facilitation assistance on relevant projects.
  • May supervise support staff 

 

 

Maintenance Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance
  • Ability to develop an understanding of critical spare parts inventory and processes.
  • Ability to communicate and work seamlessly with all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to support our multi-plant regional landscape. 

 

 

Job Qualifications: 

Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular two-year Associates degree.

Between 3-5 years of work experience is required.

 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects required. 
  • Experience blueprinting, gathering business requirements, documentation and training preferred.
  • SAP experience required.
  • SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) preferred.
  • High level of analytical skills required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • An understanding of supply chain management--including inventory management, manufacturing principles, quality management, maintenance and purchasing.
