General Summary:

The SAP Administration Manager is responsible for SAP development as it relates to sales. This includes providing leadership and direction for the sales order entry process and ensuring procedures are being followed.  The individual will supervise, develop, and provide daily direction to the sales administration team, QD and rep stock programs.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

SAP Sales Administration

  • Provide daily direction for the customer master record maintenance, billing changes, acknowledgement administration, sales office ID’s, business process procedure (BPP) creation and maintenance, date changes, commission discrepancies, miscellaneous shipments, and daily/weekly reports.
  • Lead SAP Sales systems, processes, and order workflow continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales, business units, or channels to implement corporate initiatives.
  • Supervise the entry of credit and debit memos and work with accounts receivable to resolve invoice issues.
  • Work with Business Units, Marketing, IT, and CAPS team to define actions necessary when price increases are required, including updates to systems as required.
  • Work with IT and CAPS teams on improvements and coordination of events and changes as they relate to SAP and sales processes. Document requirements using JIRA system.
  • Supervise the coordination and execution of Fortis process and procedure changes for sales and order processing groups.
  • Participate in development of new SAP process and procedures, training requirements definition, and training.
  • Manage the Mobile Order Status application with IT and our Rep Partners
  • Assist with new or changes to plants, material groups, and product classes, sales groups, and sales offices as needed.
  • Manage Sales templates, rebates, and the return goods program.
  • Manage the publishing of Sales/Marketing documents on the portal.
  • Prepare communiques to the Rep Community.
  • Administer SAP security for the SD module in SAP for internal users

Quick Build & Quick Delivery Program and Catalog:

  • Manage the order entry process and coordinate with the business units, distribution centers, and Logistics teams.
  • Provide daily service to the reps and distributors to resolve order discrepancies quickly.  Make recommendations for changes in order entry instructions and pricing that will eliminate repetitious discrepancies.
  • Perform research and analysis for business units and Sourcing and Logistics functions to determine product mix for stock items.
  • Assess new Greenheck product offerings and their viability as a stock item.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Marketing and business units to develop catalog content.
  • Maintain the distribution list for the catalog.
  • Work with corporate marketing on the promotion of the QD/QB program.

Rep Stock Program

  • Develop written policy and support materials for stock programs.
  • Provide direction to order entry personnel.  
  • Develop promotional materials and support for individual rep stock catalogs.

Job Qualifications: 

Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program.

Minimum 10 years of progressively more responsible work experience is required.

  • High level analytical ability which requires research to obtain information to analyze complex data. 
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems required.
  • Experience with customer sales and business unit support is essential.
