  • Manage product life cycles, platforms and hierarchy.
  • Use 80/15/5 tools to analyze and reshape our product offering to meet market needs.
  • Create, maintain and communicate product forecasts, roadmaps, and marketing plan.
  • Regularly gather information and analyze trends, drivers, competitors, technologies, codes and research to ensure that our products are competitively positioned to best capitalize on market growth opportunities.
  • Create, maintain and communicate competitive analysis studies.
  • Define product development requirements through creation of market studies.
  • Prepare product studies or business cases for new and redesigned products in order to help define the project scope.  Create product scope documents and analyze market price points.
  • Work with sales and engineering departments to establish priorities and schedules for product development activities.
  • Launch and promote products in coordination with sales.
  • Assist sales with decisions regarding discounts on large or strategic projects.
  • Ensure product profitability meets or exceeds business unit targets.
  • Create and maintain marketing materials for example: case studies, application guides, sales literature, IOMs and presentations.
  • Oversee development and implementation of marketing communications.
  • Develop and manage other useful tools for sales and reps to use for product promotion.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert relative to the application of products.
  • Develop and coordinate product, sales and application training for internal and external customers.
  • Participate in industry related associations as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the supervision and development of direct reports.
  • Manage travel, supplies, and people costs to levels committed to in the budget.



Job Qualifications: 

Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program.  MBA or interest in attaining an MBA a plus.


Minimum 5-10 years of sales, marketing or experience preferred. 


Available to travel up to 15% of the time.
