<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This position is responsible for enhancing Greenheck’s existing benefit programs and developing new initiatives. As a subject matter expert, this role provides leadership in researching, implementing, and driving adoption of benefits programs that serve to enhance Greenheck’s employer of choice focus, while also identifying cost savings opportunities.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Identifies, researches, proposes, and implements recommended changes to benefits programs, including implementation of centers of excellence, value-based design, second opinion services, plan design enhancements, etc.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintains understanding of market trends and legal implications of potential changes; provides recommendations to leadership on opportunities for improvement.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Understands aggregate population health metrics and uses this information to propose and implement programs to improve targeted health outcomes.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Works closely with TPAs/brokers to identify new/underutilized programs.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Drives strategy and implementation of improvements and expansion to onsite health clinic and serves as primary contact for clinic vendor/partner.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Works closely with Benefits Manager and finance team to track identified savings and reinvestments; develops metrics for measuring success.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manages population health programs, such as flu shots, health fairs, onsite biometric screenings, and wellness activities across multiple locations.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Identifies and implements strategies to drive better health care consumer behavior, through plan design and/or education.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Partners with benefits team to align and communicate strategies, ensuring good customer service and accurate systems updates.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Keeps a “pulse” on the organization as it relates to benefit programs, pain points, suggestions, and priorities.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Works with benefits manager to provide recommendations to contract negotiation team on proposed benefit changes.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Works closely with benefits, internal communications, and marketing teams to proactively communicate benefits programs and initiatives.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Serves as back-up for general benefits questions and processes.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Other duties as assigned.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">Job Qualifications:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program in human resources management, business or communications.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">5 years of progressively more responsible work experience in benefits administration is required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Certification/License – Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) is a plus
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and time management skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical abilities
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to proactively drive and communicate initiatives
