General Summary:


The Sr. Talent Development Specialist is a key role to Greenheck’s talent development programs and initiatives. This position requires consistent demonstration in planning, preparation, assessment and evaluation, communication, and professional credibility. This role is for those that are passionate about learning and development, possess strong interpersonal skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy collaborating on program and process improvement. This is accomplished through strengthening the organizations capabilities ensuring current and future talent needs are met.



Principal Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Develop and delivers group and individual learning and development offerings covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas.
  • Coordinates and oversee the development of internal and external training programs and resources for all Greenheck locations. 
  • Assists with research, preparation, and delivery of training programs designed to improve or enhance our employee’s skills and competencies.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Units to identify, develop and deliver training solutions and manage execution to ensure efficient achievement of business goals.
  • Effectively manage and complete all aspects of assigned project work from inception to implementation. Coordinate and execute project meetings and presentations as necessary. Lead and participate in training needs assessment and business process change associated with the project.
  • Finds operational efficiencies and recommend strategic improvements to existing programs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the design and delivery of programs, act on and share best practices
  • Conduct needs analysis and design learning objectives, content outline, presentation and training method, appropriate job aides and technology integration. Consult with subject matter experts to ensure relevancy of learning objectives and delivery methodology.
  • Formulates learning outlines and determining instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods such as individual, group instruction, lectures, virtual/in-person, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
  • Coordinates administrative functions necessary to deliver and document talent development programs.
  • Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to administer and track training completion.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation process and training.
  • Assists employees in looking at appropriate educational and development plans depending upon the career path they are interested in pursuing.
  • Utilizes project management tasks in order to effectively organize the development and design of training programs, curriculum, and communication.
  • Communicates the progress of projects, processes, and tools with Manager, Talent Development, learning/training team, and stakeholders.
  • Develops and implements metrics and monitoring plan to demonstrate the impact training has on improving performance.


Job Qualifications:

  • BS in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development & Effectiveness, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • Five to seven (5-7) years direct learning and development experience including learning program design, facilitation, and continuous program optimization required.
  • 5 years direct experience with coordination of leadership and professional development activities strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Talent Management functions, specifically in performance management and succession planning a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, connect professionally, and gain trust and credibility with different levels of professionals across the organization.
  • Strong learning strategy development, curriculum, and instructional design (instructor-led and online), and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent presentation & facilitation skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of adult learning principles in training
  • Experience with using different learning software to engage audience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and ability to change priorities as needed.
  • Highly motived and a self-starter with the ability to build and leverage relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Proven working experience in project management.
