Your Opportunity:

As the Greenheck Group Systems Analyst – Engineering, you will analyze, develop, deploy, and support software solutions for Greenheck’s engineering community.  These software solutions include CAD, CAM, and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software, along with custom solutions developed for engineering.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop technical knowledge of Greenheck’s engineering software solutions and manufacturing capabilities.  Support end users of CAD, CAM, and PLM software as the team requires.  Provide excellent customer service to our internal users of the software.
  • Perform software installations, upgrades, and modifications as needed. 
  • Write specifications for our internal development team or create your own developments to automate tasks or improve processes and systems.
  • Troubleshoot software issues.  Document and communicate solutions to known issues to end users.  Follow up with software vendors to resolve software issues as needed.
  • Monitor existing automation systems and respond if issues arise.  Propose, test, and implement solutions to fix common issues. 
  • Participate with other team members to plan and implement solutions for the engineering community.  This may include purchased CAD, CAM, and PLM solutions and custom systems developed at Greenheck.

 

Somethings we think you should know:

  • Although our organization has adapted to the remote work environment, the nature of this role requires this person to be within a commutable distance to our Schofield, WI location. The flexibility for hybrid work from home will be considered.

 

What you should have:

  • Associates degree in related field or a combination of education and experience would be considered
  • Engineering, manufacturing, or IT-related education, training, or experience would be required.
  • Experience or training with modern CAD, CAM, or PLM software would be preferred. 
  • Experience with Inventor, AutoCAD, Trunest, Radan, TruTops, NC Express, SAP PLM, or AutoDesk Vault would be a plus.
  • Understanding of CAD 3D sheet metal design and manufacturing is desired. 
  • Training or experience with a modern computer programming language, such as VB.net and C# would be a plus.
