Position Logistics: For the right candidate, this position can have hybrid flexibility if within a commutable distance to one of regional campus locations (Tulsa, OK | Shelby, NC | Schofield, WI). There may be frequent travel to Schofield, WI for training and occassional required in-person meetings. 

 

Your Opportunity:

As the Benefits Analyst, Sr., you will support Greenheck Group’s benefits strategy in benefit administration, execution and adherence to corporate plan provisions and governmental regulations. You will provide direct customer service support to team members, as well as provide guidance to HR partners. You will be Greenheck Group’s subject matter expert in Greenheck Group’s benefits and market trends within the benefits field to optimize existing processes and lead the adoption of new internal and external opportunities to maximize efficiencies.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Provides customer service, assistance and counseling to team members and managers
  • Participate in vendor review for effectiveness by developing reports, scorecards and performance standards for vendors.
  • Assists in annual benefits open enrollment process
  • Maintains complete and accurate benefits files and records
  • Maintain updated knowledge on federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Primary contact for all claim issues and plan document interpretation, resolving participant and plan-level errors and identifies and implements process improvements and efficiencies
  • Audits and processes vendor invoices.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for internal and external benefits administration
  • Performs reporting on a regular and ad hoc basis to complete internal, state and/or federal reporting, testing, and plan eligibility.
  • Develop benefits administration processes, procedures, guidelines and documentation.
  • Preparation of various reports including Form 5500, benefits surveys and plan audits.

 

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelors degree in related field and/or combination of education or experience will be considered
  • +5 years of progressively more responsible work experience in benefits administration is required.
  • Certification/License – Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Experience with 401(k)
