Greenheck Group is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our expanding organization as we begin build out of our new Tulsa location. This person will be responsible for; supporting and maintaining systems in SAP, finding ways to prevent waste and defects in the production process, and supporting product engineering. They will design efficient systems that integrate workers, information, machines and materials so that our products meet both quality and service requirements. 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the product engineering liaison to insure efficient new product launches occur while adhering to expected quality conformance and customer satisfaction. 
  • Support and maintain all systems related initiatives including but not limited to; insuring the accuracy of all routings and their dependencies, ensuring consistency for all ACX plants.
  • Support and maintain the accuracy of all standard operating procedures for all ACX plants.
  • Develop processes, procedures and supporting documentation to enhance cost, quality and customer service while ensuring safety and compliance with government regulations
  • Coordinate and implement training initiatives to support manufacturing
  • Participate in process improvement teams
  • Recognize and propose design changes to improve manufacturability
  • Support and participate in value engineering initiatives
  • Identify and implement improvements to material utilization, cell layout and product flow
  • Provide summarized data to influence key management decisions relating to budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning
  • Serve in a leadership role with regards to our Lean initiatives

Business Unit Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

This position involves a new factory start-up which will require training prior to plant opening at existing facilities located in Wisconsin and North Carolina. Some travel will be required during this period.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field required
  • Between 2-4 years of work experience is desired. Experience in a manufacturing environment is also preferred.
  • Basic AutoCAD and project management skills required
  • SAP and systems experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Lean concepts
