Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery to ensure they’re always in proper working order.
- Test and observe equipment and machinery using tools such as voltmeters and other testing devices to diagnose malfunctions and make repairs as needed.
- Follow PM work orders to examine moving parts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for signs of excessive wear, defects, and damage.
- Care for machinery and equipment by cleaning, adjusting parts, and lubricating moving components as needed to ensure proper, efficient function.
- Use CMMS to record all preventive maintenance and repair work performed, recording all parts and materials used during the repair process.
- Study manufacturer manuals and technical drawings to troubleshoot, repair and set-up machinery (current and new).
- Participate in technical training as required to learn new equipment and processes to be able to safely perform all maintenance functions.
- Fabricate metal pieces together as needed to create or repair new parts, assemble equipment, or repair broken parts as needed.
- Participate in Kaizen events (TPM, GPS pit-stops) to represent the Maintenance team in machinery and process improvements.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineer with projects, equipment specifications and repair parts.
- Operate Scissor lifts, boom lifts and forklifts as needed following all Safety procedures and qualifications.
- Perform housekeeping and participate in 5s for Maintenance shop, tools, and work areas.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
Required:
- In addition to a high school diploma or equivalent, a two-year maintenance tech degree or equivalent is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good math and computer skills.
- Ability to use hand tools, power / shop tools, and read measuring devices.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basis.
Preferred:
- OSHA 10 Hour Certification.
- A minimum of two years prior maintenance experience.
- Standing for a minimum of 8 hours daily.
- Continuous lifting, climbing, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc.
- Moderate level of concentration and analytical ability with a high focus on safety and quality.
- Exceptional problem solving and time management skills with the ability to work independently as needed.
- Basic knowledge of electrical schematics and controls.
- Willing to work overtime when needed.

Shift Schedule: (Could vary depending upon operational needs)
- 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 2:00 AM – 10:00 PM
